Custom glass doors are an investment. They help enhance the aesthetics of your home as well as increase its sentimental and financial value. Taking care of your glass doors on a regular basis is good preventive maintenance. Here are some do’s and don’ts which will help to ensure a trouble free life for your doors:

Do

1. Clean the glass regularly with any clear liquid spray type glass cleaner.
2. Wash down the doors with warm soapy water and wipe dry.
3. Ensure the hinges are free from dirt & dust etc. The hinges can be oiled once a year with a light oil.

Don't

1. Use any paste or cream cleaner.
2. Use any types of bleach.
3. Use any solvents or glues.
4. Use any abrasive papers or cleaning products

Do not use chemical agents on your hardware.  The agents can remove the finish from the aluminum frame work and the solid brass hardware. Please do not ammonia related glass cleaning products!
